The Ghana Teachers Association (GTA) is a forward-thinking, non-union, professional association dedicated to restoring the recognition, dignity, respect, and wellbeing of teachers across Ghana. The Association brings together teachers from pre-tertiary and tertiary institutions, student-teachers, retired educators, and education stakeholders who share a common vision of elevating the teaching profession. Through welfare initiatives, teacher-owned investments, wellness programs, professional development, and social engagement activities, GTA seeks to make teaching one of the most respected and fulfilling professions in Ghana. GTA operates with a clear vision, guiding principles, and structured programs aimed at long-term impact. The Association is committed to transparency, inclusiveness, and teacher-led governance as it builds a strong institutional foundation for national growth.
